CONTENT WARNINGS
James is from Silent Hill 2 (remake) that contains a large number of disturbing and triggering content. The series deals with a number of heavy topics including but not limited to suicidal ideation, alcoholism, csa mentions, murder, torture, sex work, etc. James in particular deals with a number of heavy mental health related issues due to his wife's prolonged illness and subsequent death. He has found it easier to stop drinking as of late but he deals with substance abuse issues in regards to alcohol. While I won't be springing up most of these in tags unless otherwise discussed or without the appropriate cw label, they may be mentioned either in text or by James depending on the context. In canon, James stands at about 5"11", often being the tallest among those he encounters in Silent Hill. He wears a heavy winter jacket from the army [now with the army patches completely gone], and has a tendency to wear more than one shirt under the jacket in the original game, with this detail not being as clear in the remake. He wears dark slacks to match, and shoes as well. He keeps his hair parted neatly enough, and he does not wear any accessories or other items. As the series progresses, he does appear to be overall unkempt and filthy.
